Bass (2005)
Steve was born in Bronx, NY, but has
lived in NJ, OH, MI, MO, CT, IN and TX. He and his partner Dale
Moved to Sarasota in 2005 to enjoy the weather (no one told them
about hurricanes), culture, people and of course, to sing with GCMC.
Steve, who has a PhD in Exercise Science with a specialization in
Health Promotion, has been the Wellness Director at both the
Cleveland Clinic and Owens Corning Fiberglas, as well as Associate
Professor at Bowling Green State U where he taught for 11 years.
Since arriving in Sarasota, Steve continues to be actively involved
with theater, having performed in The Cocoanuts and The
Underpants at Venice Little Theater. In Ohio, he sang with and
serves 1 year as the president of Sing Out Toledo, its first GLBT
community chorus.

Travel, reading, singing, acting,
photography and collecting pop-up books.
