Bass (1999)
Al was born in Sewickley, PA and worked for
31 years as a secondary school teacher with the Department of Defense
Overseas Dependent Schools in Frankfurt, Germany. He retired in
1993 and moved to Sarasota in 1995. He is now employed as a
part-time ticket agent with the Sarasota Opera Assoc. He is
single at this point he states "it's very likely to stay that
way". Al helps the chorus a great deal by handling the money and
the tickets for our concerts, and he has a nephew (sigh) that has
helped out at our concerts.
Hobbies: Languages, traveling, music.
